Can i report my dad to the police for this?

i was watching the dark knight and my dad came in and turned it off and put the news on and he made me watch it for ages. and then he called me retarded cuz ive seen the movie 4 times, he said i was too old for batman even though hes seen it and liked it. and then he put a documentry on and wouldnt let me leave the room. that like holding me against my will. can i report himCan i report my dad to the police for this?
It doesn't matter how insignificant what your dad made you do, but he forced you against your will and that is not tolerated by authorities. Contact them and make sure you tell them what happened. you can't let that go by. He may be your dad but he has no right to do that to you.

No, while your dad was being mean to you, you can't report him for disrespecting you and forcing you to watch a different show. The police will just get irrated and you'll be in deep trouble. Instead try talking to your dad about this.
