Yes He was Real.Although he did die in his final battle with the Original Batman he put a microchip in Robin that had his DNA.So he lost his body in that battle with Batman but years later he used Robin`s body to reincarnate himself after giving Robin nightmares all those timeIn batman beyond was the joker real or not?
The joker died before Batman Beyond. The Joker in the movie was Robin.
