Batman 3 - Nolan not to re-cast Joker?

Well this is what he has said. There are some other reports which say "Never be cast" but i think that's BS. Im a Batman fan, not the overweight,Comic book loving freak, i Just find Batman more realistic. The Joker as most know was the biggest character in Batman. If you saw the Dark Knight the Joker said they would "do this forever". This tells me it isn't over. I can understand them giving him a break, but to close him out completely until a new director plans to re-do batman in 50 years is insane. Hopefully Nolan does a 4th installment in which Harley Quinn will be introduced. I mean, the Joker is presumably in Arkham Asylum [after his capture in the dark knight]. And it would only make sense to introduce Dr. Harleen Quinzel who through the Joker's Manipulation becomes Harley Quinn. It makes sense, the story is there. I can understand how Nolan would feel it being predictable, but maybe he could add a little something extra!

I don't think there's any point in recasting the Joker; it would just be the same thing over again. I think another villain should be the focus of the movie.



Personally I would like to see the Mad Hatter--but that isn't likely to happen. The Riddler could be promising.

A recast would be awkward. The only way they could do it is if they set it in the future. Besides you don't know how far apart the sequels are it could be a couple of days as far as we know. harley quin has no point without the joker.Batman 3 - Nolan not to re-cast Joker?
I highly doubt Nolan would recast Joker it would put Ledger to shame. And in 50 years down the line and the redo Batman then I will have no hope for Hollywood and its movies. Batman 3 directed by Nolan will be the last film. I don't see how Harley can work in Batman shes not much of a fighting villain nor is she that smart to be up against Batman alone. I would like to see some other villains like Hush or The Phantasm or even Firefly, but in all the Batman films only the most popular villains appear.
