Will the Joker return without Heath Ledger?

I personally think the director should let the Joker go, because no one can play the Joker any better than Heath. And who would you like to see as the next villian? Someone ruthless maybe, to help Batman redeem his status as the crime fighter of Gotham. Also, has there been any news on a third installment of the new Batman films? I would like for the joker to return...but only if there good as playing the joker. But honestly i dont think no one could be as good as Heath Ledger.

Yes, it's waste if there isn't a sequel.
There is no plans at this time to make a 3rd Bale Batman. Bale is busy till 2011 with the next 2 Terminator films.





There has never been a modern Batman film where the villain returned for the next one. The joker was written in one film and one film only for the current series. Of course the Joker will return some day with a different director and producer(s). The Batman films will continue to be made well after our lifetimes. Haven't seen it yet but from what I have heard he was the best ever.



Still can't believe he is dead. That part must have done something to him and then his wife leaving him and not being able to be with his daughter who looked just like him. So sad. He really became the part he played and got physically ill from it.
Ledger's Joker reflects the pre2008 Joker. His image is alread outdated...actualy, his image is Beetlejuice.



He will be easily replaced. These movies are not made for movie goers, but for the people who actualy spend money on the comic books.

There will NOT be a sequel for some time %26amp; it will NOT be directed by Nolan %26amp; it will NOT be connected to the Dark Knight. The Dark Knight was set in Otherworlds %26amp; is not canon to the story line. Just look at all the errors made on Harvey Dent; Hair color, who scared his face, how he got them, what woman he was really with. Answers: Black, Sal Maroni, exploding package of acid, his wife Gilda.
doubt joker is coming unless they have any extra footage they can seamlessly put in the movie. or can seamlessly reuse footage.



there are rumors of riddler, catwoman, and penguin. riddler could be cool if they did it right. people say dent and rachel dawes might be alive



a third movie is gonna happen, that's alll i know.
