I see a flaw in that statement! Since the film is only just being released it is not possible for it to have been a source of influence!

What a fantastic film though. BTW, I don't remember seeing anyone getting stabbed in it.
to be fair - i dont know how i would react if my kid got killed as this womans did, but to have this hysterical overreaction towards violence in movies is just effing ridiculous - my favourite films mostly concentrate on the darker side of human emotions, violence, lies - it is about escapism - should we ban martin scorcese from making films because the nasty mafia man whacks a guy or calls someone a ni**er?



EDIT - nice use of 'Watchmen' in your avatar above - i think they are making a film of that soon, and by God i shall be outraged if there is any violence and characters fail to repect each others personal space

if films go down that route then we are one step from nazi germany or north korea where everything is sanctioned by the state and if you happen to disagree you will disappear down a dark hole
