In May 2010, director Christopher Nolan stated that the Joker will not return in this film. He previously stated that Mr. Freeze and the Penguin would not be in the film either.



On June 30, 2010, Christopher Nolan confirmed that the script, written by his brother Jonathan Nolan, has been finished.



The film will begin shooting in April 2011.



Christian Bale has stated that he would not play Batman if Robin was in any of these 3 films. Christopher Nolan agreed not to include Robin while it would take away the dark premise of his series.Anyone got knowledge of true batman 3 news?
Likely will not hear anything until the previews are out since that movie is quite anticipated. So everything will be kept under-wraps %26amp; the movie still has to be shot.
